Exodus - Thorn in my Side

Somebody told me once that this song was about me. hehe

This reminds me of the good old days of youth. I got to party with Exodus twice. One time some friends and I rolled up into the parking lot of one of their shows like 6 hours early with a case of beer and the only one there was the blond haired guitar guy, Rick, taking pictures of the building. He let us go up on their bus and the singer rolled over, woke up, and while he was stretching and yawning was like - "Who got the weeeeed?" They were party maniacs - got trashed all the way up to the show and had to be faced while they were on.

A couple years later at the old Hammerjacks in Baltimore we met up with Rick again at one of their shows and he ended up cruising back to my buddys house to hang out. Dude was crazed - he was climbing upside down and hanging in doorways - bouncin off the walls - he was something else. When we drove him back to the airport hotel where he was staying at like 5 AM - he was literally falling out the car door and screaming at passing cars. We dropped him off and he started chasing our car down the street screaming "My Friends!, My Friends!" while roadies from his crew grabbed him and dragged him back.

Dude lived his songs.

There still putting stuff out but without Rick or the singer, Zetro - but it ain't as cool.
