Bin Laden: Goal is to Bankrupt U.S.

Beware! If you want Osama to win - just keep on fighting this lying war and he will. When our dollar crashes and China stops lending us $ we will be done - mostly thanks to the trillions spent fighting someone who never attacked us. Ron Paul has said this at every debate. If we don't wake up soon we are doomed. Check out this article from 2004 - between the loss of liberties and our economic collapse it seems like they are winning to me.

Article Here

"We are continuing this policy in bleeding America to the point of bankruptcy. Allah willing, and nothing is too great for Allah," bin Laden said in the transcript.

He said the mujahedeen fighters did the same thing to the Soviet Union in Afghanistan in the 1980s, "using guerrilla warfare and the war of attrition to fight tyrannical superpowers."

"We, alongside the mujahedeen, bled Russia for 10 years until it went bankrupt and was forced to withdraw in defeat," bin Laden said.

  2. How about we do the Golden Rule and treat other nations the way we'd like them to treat us? Stay out of their affairs and worry about our own border. We have enough weaponry to defend against anything that ever threatened us.

  3. ABSOLUTELY !!! WHICH MEANS RON PAUL IS THE ANSWER TO THE CANCER !!!!!!

  4. I love it. Can you just imagine if he actually was elected? He'd close down the Federal Reserve and every one of THEM would be gritting their teeth! Get rid of the NAU treaties, IRS, DEPT. of ED., he'd singlehandedly set back their evil plans decades. It would be a golden moment in history. To think that it is so close to becoming a reality, closer than ever before, makes me want to scream it from the roof!

That's what the people in the World Trade Center thought too.

  12. Yes there is ... But its worded differently to reflect te feelings of the others ...it goes like this .. "SCREW UNTO OTHERS BEFORE THEY CAN SCREW IT TO YOU" ....

  13. The reason might be, as Dr. Paul thinks, the fact that we are there and have bases on their soil provokes these people into hating us. How would we feel if there were French or Italian Military bases in America? I wouldn't like it.
The official 911 story says Osama gave the fact we had a base in Saudia Arabia as a reason for the attack. Maybe that's really why.

  16. The French and Italians can't even establish bases in France and Italy. History shows Dugg that the middle eastern bases were not established by force but were established by invitation. The terrorist's beef is not with the US it is with their own governments.

  17. RIGHT ... and the people are treated the same way by thier own gov. thier gov. tells the people what is going to happen and then tells them to eat shit if they dont like it....so these people revolted against thier own and lost...so they attacked the next best thing ...AMERICA...the percieved secondary responsibility

  20. Nah. Nothing gets me down. I'll think it's terribly sad if he isn't somehow nominated - but I know there's a reason behind everything.

  21. EARTH TO DUGG: PAUL IS NOT GETTING NOMINATED. GO AHEAD AND BE SAD NOW AND GET IT OVER WITH.

  22. Have a crystal ball, do ya?
I'll admit it is not likely, Ed, okay? But anything can and sometimes does happen.
I'm holding out hope for maybe McInsane to say something crazy on tv and a scandal that can't be swept away to hit Rommel-ney - right as Huckafraud runs out of money.
Ron Paul does have huge support, Ed. Somebody is donating - you're only allowed to donate $2300 and it came out today that he officially raised the most of any of the GOP this last quarter.
Brokered Convention - you might get a surprise.

  25. Yeah Dugg...Bin Laden also is out to get Israel. Do the Israeli's have a bunch of foreign military bases?

    Ed

    Comment by Ed— 2008/02/01 @ 11:53 PM — (Reply)

  26. What's that mean? No. So why do we?
Let Israel handle their own problems. They are their own country. We give them the weapons to protect themselves and tons of money. What more do they deserve? They have a military.
Maybe without our help they would be more inclined to reach some kind of agreement with their enemies.

    Comment by Dugg— 2008/02/02 @ 12:13 AM — (Reply)

  27. The Isreali's are the Muslims 1/2 brother .. Thier fight is actually a fight between brothers over who gets thier fathers inheirtance .... Cain and Able ..

Comment by aza spade— 2008/02/02 @ 05:55 AM — (Reply)

  28. The point Ed makes is that Ron Paul's and your claim that Bin Laden's fools attack is is because we have military bases in their countries. What you ignored was Ed's point that Israel is attacked more than us and Israel has no bases in their countries. Therefore, the premise that attackes are caused by military bases is FALSE.

  29. I see what your saying - that's a little different, isn't it? They view Israel as occupying their land. They don't have that arguement with us.

    Comment by Dugg— 2008/02/02 @ 08:25 AM — (Reply)

  30. It's a lot different. Number one, there are not a heck of a lot of countries that can claim Israel is occupying their land. Not that I am a big Israel guy (this is just part of the overall example), but what Israel occupies is but a speck and while it was originally given to them by politicians they have kept it despite tremendous odds against them and you have to give them a hat tip for that.

How many middle eastern countries have US military bases who have NOT given the US permission in the first place?

    Ed

    Comment by Ed— 2008/02/02 @ 08:30 AM — (Reply)

  31. Even though a lot of countries can't claim Israel is their land - they claim it as holy ground. That puts a big spin on the whole issue.

    Comment by Dugg— 2008/02/02 @ 08:48 AM — (Reply)

  32. The concept of a brokered convention is that delegates change their allegiance from the candidate they were originally there to support to another candidate as a result of an analysis of who can win. Which clearly disqualified Ron Paul.

As Ed so eloquently puts it, face your disappointment now and get over it. Logically it is worse to have Hillary in there than it is to not have Ron Paul who had zero chances in the first place.

The logical thing to do is get behind the candidate with the best chance to beat Hillary who we all know is Obama.

  35. it shouldnt be about who can win. In a race the win is by who crosses the finishing line first. One contestant could be slower than another but finish first because the hare stoped to sleep .. sort ta say ..each contestant can run a race and win by popular vote ..not college electoralate ...college suggest the panel is still "LEARNING" ...and if we have learned anything we should have already learned that we cannot afford the dollars demoncrates propose to need ...for funding the entire world except the home front ..unless your black or illeagal alien ...

  36. Don't listen to Dugg Aza or you are going to end up with the worst choice. Hillary. That would truly be a sign that the end is near. Try to help get Dugg to wake up and smell the Hillary stench in the air before it's too late.

  38. I've smelt Hitlery since the 80's, dude. You ain't telling me nothin. I agree with Aza on this. It's not supposed to be about who will win - but who you respect and think should win. I'm tired of voting for the lesser of two evils.

    Comment by Dugg— 2008/02/02 @ 08:28 AM — (Reply)

  39. In a perfect world you are absolutely right Dugg. There should not be the all powerful two party system and out of all the millions of Americans there are surely better candidates out there than all the ones who began this time around.

However it's not a perfect world and people like you (Aza is beginning to see the light) will be the reason if Hillary gets to screw with our lives.

The 'better of two evils' is a damn shame but until the system changes I am going to vote for the better simply so I have the right to complain if the worse of two evils gets elected.

I think the two party system will be gone by mid century so for now....get on the NO HILLARY EXPRESS.

    Ed

  41. Take a deep breath, have a cup of coffee and wake up Aza. You know, Dugg knows and I know and even Hillary knows that Ron Paul has absolutely no chance of being elected.

You know in your heart that Obama is a baby step towards change and Hillary is one of the establishment and is going backwards.

Your vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Hillary. Do you want that? Think long and hard Aza.

    Ed

    Comment by Ed— 2008/02/02 @ 09:29 AM — (Reply)

  42. You hear all these candidates saying they are going to provide "CHANGE" has anyone heard of what these changes might be ???? What is the change osamabama is professing, or Hillary, what changes is she going to do ???

Comment by aza spade— 2008/02/02 @ 10:06 AM — (Reply)

  43. Well, I hear your point.
I had totally given up any hope whatsoever until Dr. Paul came into the picture. It is very exiting to have someone represent your viewpoints when you feel like you've been unrepresented by your government all your life. I don't want to see Hillary elected either - but I honestly feel like if ANY of them are elected bedides RP - we are done. Finished. And I don't really care which one gets in there. Maybe it should be her who gets to officially destroy the country - who would be more fitting?

    Comment by Dugg— 2008/02/02 @ 08:46 AM — (Reply)

  44. OMG....a closet Hillary supporter. It's OK to admit that you have sex fantasies about her.

    ED

    Comment by Ed— 2008/02/02 @ 08:48 AM — (Reply)

  45. I have fantasies - but they don't involve no sex with her. Listen to me, Ed, for your own good - Everyone knows Hitlery sucks - but Obama is NO better, dude. He was voted one of the top 10 corrupt politicians - has mega accusations being thrown at him and would be more of the same old same old.
4 years from now will you really want to be identified as a supporter of his?

    Comment by Dugg— 2008/02/02 @ 09:38 AM — (Reply)
